Waking Children Part 2 May 31, 2008

Posted by Mistress B in Funny Stuff, Hubby.

Your next lesson in child waking courtesy of the PSLS.

1. Check that your mobile phone number has been allocated the loudest and most annoying incoming caller tone available on your landline handset.

2. Sneak into a child bedroom and hide the home phone handset somewhere not immediately apparent to sleep befuddled minds.

3. Sneak back out to the living room and use your mobile to ring the home phone number.

4. Laugh yourself silly as you child stumbles around their bedroom trying to find the source of the noise while muttering child curses under their breath at you.

That would work well on most people I know… but not my hubby, he’d sleep through the phone, wake up 4 hours later and tell you he had a weird dream about a phone ringing. πŸ˜€

This could work for more than young kids! I have one who I could do it to now!
Bit sad when you remember all mine are mothers themselves!!

Do they run into each other. I love it when half asleep kids collide.

My hubby is a Firey, and when the pager goes off, his mobile rings too. You know, just to be on the safe side. Guess what that particular ring tone is? You guessed it: lights and sirens all the way baby. When we were staying at his parents place last year, it went off, and they got up and walked outside to see what was happening. At 2am!!!! Want me to text it to you???

[…] other method. Hell. I’d rather they had an all-out brawl in the living room, banged on drums, rang the phones or set off the fire alarm than stand at the side of the bed and watch me sleep till I awake with a […]
