Simple Pleasures Sunday August 17, 2008

Look at my peas!!

They are so heavy they are pulling themselves off the trellis!

I’m getting a few pods off them already.

Yum. Fresh peas straight from the pod.

I eat the peas, the black bunneh (Spot) eats the pods

Meantime the black cat (Coal) was following me around the garden.

And keeping PSLS in line

Your’s are bigger than mine 😛

Don’t look but you have pea on your hands.

Your spam catcher has my comment. Damn WordPress has listed me as spam.

I’m so jealous! My peas haven’t done very well this year. 😦

Nice peas. Mine didn’t do so well last time, completely covered in powdery mildew. Do you get powdery mildew and how do you control it? I’m going to try planting my peas with a bit more space between the plants next time and be extra careful not to wet the leaves when I’m watering, that’s about all I can think of to do, since I don’t want to use any chemicals.

oh the joys of home grown produce. I wish I planted peas they look good.
My caulis’ are doing well all three of them and my chinese cabbage is full of holes … just hope not bugs.

Should I be planting stuff now????

Yikes!!! I thought it was September…

(…. I’ll have to take a sickie if that’s the case. I can’t fit everything in.)

My tastebuds remember your peas with fondness.

Sitting on the back porch eating peas…… noice.

Talk soon.

Yum, fresh picked peas. 🙂

Oh wow peas are one of those plants that always start off really promising for me but die miserable deaths.

I think I got about six pods off my last effort.
