Nan to the rescue with a ladder

Right. There you are.

Over we go………

I got ya!

but who’s got me?

Wow. What an ordeal.

Still….probably better than having to ring the doorbell numerous times. “My ball is in your yard.”

Although THAT’S better than having to say “My ball broke your window.”

Our next door neighbours just wait for me to find their cricket/tennis/football/basketball/rugby/bouncy balls scattered all over the yard and chuck ’em back over…think they got tired of knocking on the door lol. 😉

I love your daughter’s reaction.

My neighours kids only did that once. A early teens boy dropped over the fence, found me standing in my undies and bra getting washing off the line. He turned red in the face, stammered an apology and hopped back over the fence. After that they always came over and knocked on our front door. Or if I found their stuff in my yard I’d chuck it over the fence to them.
