Disaster! June 13, 2008

Posted by Mistress B in Community, Family, Funny Stuff, Ramblings.

Found out yesterday that there was a building collapse in town on Wednesday night when the floor of the picture theatre collapsed. Unfortunately it is also the roof of the dvd hire shop.

No movies.

No dvd’s.

What’s a family to do for weekend entertainment now?

*dramatically swoons*

1. Anja - June 13, 2008

OH NO!!!!!

Um… um… talk to each other?

*slaps head with hand*

What am I thinking?

2. Trish - June 13, 2008

Celebrity heads …

oh dear yes talk to each other or eat popcorn

3. Jayne - June 13, 2008

Failing that you might find some entertainment in chopping wood barefoot – 😛 – I nominate you for strip poker, tequila shot scrabble and/or Mistress Monopoly (you get to move your playing pieces with a whip….or so I’m told 😛 )

Game night sounds good.

And Jayne has my idea for a great game night although I would add Naked Twister.

5. Bettina - June 13, 2008

Anja – *slap* yes. What were you thinking 😛

Trish – popcorn just isn’t the same without movies!!

Jayne – biatch 😛 Hubby approves of your game ideas lol

Evyl – Naked Twister aye…… well the kids are in bed now………..

7. widdleshamrock - June 14, 2008

Talk to each other ???

But what would you say ???

I am starting to worry about Jayne.

8. Bettina - June 14, 2008

Leechbabe – I know!!! Thankgod WWE is coming to free to air tv on sunday! That will provide some relief 😉

WS – Why? Isn’t that little streak of evil and touch of kinky just the kind of qualities that we look for in our friends? lmao

9. widdleshamrock - June 14, 2008

Yes it is, but she is getting more evil and kinky than we are !!!!!

10. Jayne - June 14, 2008

Perhaps I have been evil and kinky all along and just been on my best behaviour 😉

Wow, that will be a tough time. Hope you have a Walmart or Target nearby. We forget how conditioned we are to what we need to be entertained.

You don’t have a shelf full of DVD’s at home?? Pick one and watch. Watch it with the sound off and try to guess what they are saying. Make up your own dialogue. Let the kids join in. There’s a fun night. With or without popcorn.
